Kleine Rijke, which means “little riches” in Dutch, is a space that believes in the power of the little things in life. They strive to create unforgettable experiences and memories by being extremely detail-oriented and doing everything to the best of their abilities.
The space was created by David Krynauw and Khanye Architects with the classic Cape Dutch heritage style in mind. It is located on the Pretorius Family Farm in Hartbeespoort, which originally belonged to Andries Pretorius, a prominent figure in Afrikaans history. The property has been in the family ever since his death in 1853.
Currently, Kleine Rijke operates as a restaurant, co-working space, David Krynauw showroom, dog park, and 5km hike. They no longer host weddings, but they do rent out the chapel space for small (20-50 guests) non-wedding related events. Please send them an email for a costing and their set menu.
Kleine Rijke hopes that you will visit them and experience the little riches that life has to offer.
