Steve Komphela has left Mamelodi Sundowns to become the head coach of Swallows FC.

Komphela joined Sundowns in 2021 and helped the club win the 2021-22 Premier Soccer League title. He also led Sundowns to the CAF Champions League final, where they lost to Al Ahly.

Komphela has a long and successful coaching career in South Africa. He has previously coached Kaizer Chiefs, Free State Stars, and Maritzburg United. He is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to get the best out of his players.
